Guild Wars 2 has officially brought back the Shadow of the Mad King event to Tyria. Players can participate in seasonal activities and earn new rewards, such as the Primeval King’s Wrappings headpiece and Fog Machine weapons. Additionally, a Plush Mad King item is available for those looking to decorate their in-game housing.
ArenaNet has implemented a significant change to how players access Living World content. These seasons are now bundled directly with the game's expansions, simplifying the unlock process for users.
Under this new structure, Living World Season 2 is included with the base game. Subsequent seasons are tied to specific expansions, with Seasons 3 and 4 now part of Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire respectively.
Players can no longer purchase these Living World seasons individually. This update aims to provide a more straightforward experience for accessing content by grouping it with existing expansion purchases.
