Bandai Namco is scheduled to launch the mobile suit action game Gundam Rogue Orbit on Steam on March 4, 2027. The reveal introduced the HG 1/144 Bau Bahlam model kit, showcasing a mecha design that was briefly visible in a September release date trailer. The author noted that the Bau Bahlam is a mono-eye suit serving as a spiritual successor to the Gouf.
The model features notable combat equipment, including spiked knuckle plates and a giant robot-scale chainsaw macuahuitl, which combines a Mesoamerican weapon design with embedded obsidian blades and a chainsaw. The kit includes a mock pull-cord for posing the motor revving.
Mecha customization shown in the trailer suggests players might be able to use these parts on their own robots. The HG 1/144 Bau Bahlam kit lacks a precise release date but is expected to arrive in 2027.
