Thai developer Jumbo Jumps has announced that its debut Steam title, Father, Son & Holy Guns, will feature a public demo during the upcoming Steam Next Fest. The trial version is scheduled to become available for download starting October 19.
The action game pits players as holy warriors against Lovecraftian-inspired cosmic horrors. Gameplay emphasizes high-speed combat, aerial and ground combos, and roguelite progression mechanics. Up to four players can cooperate to battle through waves of enemies and massive bosses in a chaotic, high-intensity environment.
Development began in early 2024, with the team utilizing extra time to refine combat pacing and cooperative mechanics. Executive producer Suppalerk Montrisuksirikul noted that the project has been showcased at various global events, including being a finalist in the Gamescom Asia 2025 Pitch Competition, to build anticipation.
Following the October demo, the studio plans to release an Early Access version of the game. Further details regarding the Early Access launch are expected to be shared in the near future.
