Kinetic Games has officially announced that its horror title Phasmophobia has surpassed 30 million units sold across PC and console platforms. This milestone follows the game's initial launch in 2020 as an Early Access title on Steam.

The developer is currently celebrating this achievement alongside the return of the annual Crimson Eye Halloween event. This seasonal update introduces a Blood Moon weather effect across various maps, which increases ghost movement speed and accelerates the depletion of player sanity.

The event features a specific rotation of maps including Bleasdale Farmhouse, Camp Woodwind, Edgefield Road, Grafton Farmhouse, Nell’s Diner, Point Hope, Tanglewood Drive, and Willow Street. Participants can earn exclusive rewards such as a Beholder ID Card, badges, charms, and a seasonal t-shirt.

The Crimson Eye event is scheduled to run until November 1. Additionally, players can benefit from double experience points and rewards between October 15 and October 22.
