PlayStation 5 title God of War Laufey is scheduled for release on Tuesday, February 16, 2027, with pre-orders opening tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29, at 10 a.m. Santa Monica Studio shared these details alongside a look at pre-order bonuses and the digital deluxe edition.
Combat features Laufey utilizing a new weapon in the realm of the dead that transforms from a snake into a bow. Players can switch seamlessly between weapon and magic attacks, utilizing precise aiming modes and drawing the bow back to shoot multiple arrows or execute rapid hip-fire shots.
The digital deluxe edition includes a digital mini art book, a digital soundtrack, and the Dark Alchemy armor set containing armor and greaves, plus the Dark Alchemy bow scale. These customizable snake bow scales and unlockable skills allow players to alter the weapon's appearance and abilities.
Santa Monica Studio expressed gratitude for the community's support since the June announcement and promised more updates soon regarding the game's release in February 2027.
