PQube and Sumo Digital have officially announced that their stealth adventure title, Agent 8 of Spyweb, is scheduled for release on February 11, 2027. A new trailer accompanying the announcement provides a deeper look into the game's 1970s retro-futuristic spy thriller aesthetic.
Players control Agent 8, a robotic spider created by the S.A.F.E. organization. Equipped with sticky feet, the character navigates walls, ceilings, and floors to solve environmental puzzles and bypass security systems. The core gameplay involves utilizing high-tech gadgets and agility to thwart the S.I.N. organization's global schemes.
The game features diverse missions, ranging from rescuing astronauts to stopping runaway trains, all set within environments scaled to emphasize the protagonist's small size. Interested players can currently access a Steam demo, which has received significant updates based on community feedback.
Agent 8 of Spyweb will launch digitally on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with a physical edition planned for PS5. Additionally, the title will be available digitally on the Nintendo Switch 2.
