Blizzard has released four new deep dives detailing specific class designs and adjustments for World of Warcraft Forever. These updates cover the Rogue, Warlock, Mage, and Shaman classes currently featured in the beta, with all changes scheduled to arrive at the game's launch next month.
Rogues are receiving improvements to their combat proficiency, including increased poison charges and enhanced adaptability. Warlocks benefit from pet stat scaling and the introduction of new abilities like Soul Harvest and Wrack, alongside an improved Demonic Pact.
Mage updates focus on refining the identity of the three magic schools. Arcane gains mechanics for empowering follow-up casts, Fire continues to emphasize critical strikes and timing, and Frost retains its control-focused nature while gaining new class-wide interactions.
Shamans receive a significant totem rework, allowing for faster summoning and the ability to deploy all totems simultaneously. Additionally, weapon imbues will now last for one hour. However, the Elemental Mastery ability is being removed due to its excessive strength in PvP environments.
