Key information
On October 14, 2026, ASUS JAPAN announced the domestic release of two new Republic of Gamers OLED displays, the 31.5-inch ROG Strix OLED XG32UQWMS and the 26.5-inch ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2, scheduled for October 16.
The XG32UQWMS features a tandem WOLED panel from LG Display, which reportedly offers a 15% increase in peak brightness, a 25% larger color gamut, and up to 60% longer lifespan compared to existing WOLED panels. It supports dual-mode operation, allowing users to switch between 3840×2160 resolution at 240Hz and 1920×1080 resolution at 480Hz.
Both models include TrueBlack Glossy panels to reduce reflections and Neo proximity sensors that automatically darken the screen when the user is away to prevent burn-in. ASUS provides a three-year warranty that covers panel burn-in for both displays. Neither monitor includes a KVM switch, though both offer USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A hubs.
The XG32UQWMS supports AMD FreeSync Premium and is certified as G-SYNC Compatible. In contrast, the 26.5-inch XG27AQDMG Gen2 features a 2560×1440 resolution at 240Hz without dual-mode support, utilizing only VESA Adaptive-Sync.
