Key information
An Alienware desktop featuring an Nvidia RTX 5090 and an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D is currently available for $7,499. Although pricing has increased significantly over the past month, acquiring this complete system costs less than purchasing the GPU and the $690 CPU separately.
The Nvidia RTX 5090 serves as the primary attraction, featuring a large 32GB VRAM pool designed to handle any video game in 4K resolution. Meanwhile, the AMD processor acts as a multi-threaded performance juggernaut that also excels at gaming applications.
Testing benchmarks indicate this processor pairing surpasses the 9800X3D configuration. Additional hardware specifications include 32GB of DDR5 memory, a 2TB solid-state drive, a 1500W power supply, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and liquid cooling to manage the heavy processor.
Shoppers desiring additional memory can select a higher-specification configuration that also features a discount. Industry observers note that artificial intelligence developments have severely impacted the PC gaming market, causing rapid price surges and narrowing purchasing windows.
