Independent developer SageLab has announced that its upcoming action title DashBreaker will participate in the Steam Next Fest. A free playable demo is currently available for users on the Steam platform.

DashBreaker is an active incremental game where players pilot a ship to shatter asteroids and enemy vessels. By collecting Gold during sorties, players can permanently upgrade their ship, evolving from destroying individual targets to clearing entire groups with wide-reaching attacks.

The demo features six distinct areas, ranging from mining zones to intense battlefields filled with missiles. Players conclude the demo by challenging a massive mothership called Ark, where they must dismantle its weapons and hangars. Combat remains possible in unlocked zones after defeating the boss.

Designed for Windows PC, the game supports single-player mode, 17 interface languages, and input via mouse, keyboard, or controller. While the developer utilized generative AI for various production tasks, they confirmed that the game itself does not contain AI-generated code or content. A release date for the full version remains unannounced.
