Key information
Taiwanese developer OneShot Studio has announced that its upcoming action Roguelite title, SPIN HEROES: Paths of Evolution, will participate in the Steam October Next Fest. The game is currently available for free trial, with a full release scheduled for December 17 during the winter sale.
The gameplay centers on physics-based rotation, where players must manage speed, balance, and timing to launch heroes into enemy ranks. Combat involves selecting upgrades from three options upon leveling up, developing specific character classes, and utilizing companions for area damage, armor breaking, and support. Players must strategically use these mechanics to create openings against massive bosses.
The current demo version features the initial Commoner class, along with the first-tier Swordsman and Mage classes. Players can explore the Valley region, recruit three companions—Alan, Celestia, and Graham—and face the Spin Doctor boss. The demo offers approximately 30 minutes of gameplay.
Looking toward the full release, the developer plans to include seven distinct regions, over 16 classes, 200 pieces of equipment, and 50 types of monsters with unique AI behaviors. The game utilizes a high-contrast, bold-outline art style to ensure visual clarity during high-speed combat sequences.
