A relatively new pre-CU rogue server named The Outer Rim has emerged for the sunsetted Star Wars Galaxies, focusing primarily on distinct custom content, gear, and creatures.
The project opened its doors this past July and has steadily grown over 10 weeks, featuring frequent updates that introduced world bosses, the planet Mandalore, a revised Force Ranking system, and underground cage fighting inside The Pit alongside various balance tweaks.
Server founder Doc stated via email that developers are currently building the planet Geonosis completely from scratch as a brand-new adventure zone complete with environment, NPCs, dungeons, encounters, and dedicated loot.
Additional roadmap plans from the team include introducing new playable species and more credit sinks for players looking for an alternative emulator experience.
