Retailers Walmart and Best Buy are currently offering significant discounts on two distinct gaming desktop configurations. Consumers can purchase the ABS Cyclone M Aqua for $999 or a CyberPowerPC model for $999.99, both designed for 1080p gaming performance.
The ABS Cyclone M Aqua features an Intel Core i5-14400F processor, 16GB of DDR4-3200 memory, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GPU. This package also includes a 1TB SSD and an additional 2TB Verbatim Vi7000 Gen 4 SSD. The RTX 5060 provides high frame rates at 1080p and supports Nvidia's DLSS technology for AI-enhanced performance.
Alternatively, the CyberPowerPC rig utilizes an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F CPU and an AMD Radeon RX 9060 8GB GPU. This system is equipped with 16GB of faster DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. The AM5 socket architecture offers superior future upgrade potential compared to the Intel-based system's LGA 1700 socket.
While both machines provide formidable specifications for their price point, the CyberPowerPC is noted for its newer components and upgrade path. Conversely, the ABS model is highlighted for its DLSS support and bundled storage capacity. These promotional prices are expected to be temporary.
