Key information
Razer has announced the new Wolverine V4 line, which includes the wireless Razer Wolverine V4 Pro and the wired Razer Wolverine V4 Tournament Edition. Designed officially for Xbox and PC, the new generation of esports controllers aims to provide competitive players with advanced features for first-person shooters, racing simulators, and other genres.
The controllers utilize high-resolution capacitive thumbstick sensors and a 16-bit ADC chip to register approximately 3,000 steps of movement. Additionally, the line supports up to an 8,000 Hz polling rate on PC and up to 250 Hz on Xbox Series X|S consoles, achieving sub-1 ms response times to minimize latency.
LastShot, a 2025 Halo World Champion representing Shopify Rebellion, praised the device, stating that the new back button design is convenient for creating custom layouts, the buttons feel fast and responsive, and the improved polling rate helps stay ahead of the competition.
The hardware offers extensive customization options, featuring four magnetic swappable back buttons, two claw-grip bumpers, Pro HyperTriggers adjustable from 1.3 mm to 8.2 mm, and a removable magnetic faceplate. Players can also configure four onboard profiles, adjust dead zones, and utilize interchangeable thumbstick caps.
