Key information

Biostar has officially introduced the BIWCL-PAT, an industrial motherboard designed for edge computing, AIoT, and various commercial applications like self-service kiosks and HMI systems. The board utilizes Intel Core Series 3 processors, specifically the Wildcat Lake architecture, to provide a compact solution for system integrators.

The hardware features a 148 × 102 mm footprint and supports Intel Core 3 through Core 7 processors. Memory capacity reaches up to 64 GB via a single DDR5-6400 SO-DIMM slot. For visual output, the board supports triple independent displays, including HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 capable of 4K resolution at 60 Hz, alongside an LVDS interface.

Connectivity options are extensive, featuring three M.2 slots for NVMe storage, 4G/5G modules, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. Networking is handled by dual Intel 2.5GbE LAN ports. The board also includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, and multiple serial interfaces, including RS232/422/485, to support various industrial peripherals.

Security is managed through onboard TPM 2.0. The platform is compatible with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise 24H2 or later and Ubuntu 24.04. It is designed to operate within a 9-24 V DC input range and temperatures between 0°C and 60°C.
