Key information
The Pokémon Company announced that the Halloween 2026: Double Candy Research event will take place in the mobile application Pokémon Sleep. The event is scheduled to run from October 26 until November 2.
Starting October 26, players can encounter the Ghost-type Pokémon Misdreavus and Mismagius during sleep research. These Pokémon appear when the sleep type is slumbering at locations including Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Lapis Lakeside. Their main skill, Magical Flame, increases pot capacity for the next meal and boosts the chance of a successful dish.
During the event, Ghost-type helper Pokémon receive several bonuses, including a 1.25x increase in main skill activation probability and a +3 level boost to main skills upon activation. Additionally, they gather one extra ingredient during standard help. The event also features a special Eevee wearing a purple Halloween hat, and candy rewards are doubled.
Event mechanics include fixing one of Snorlax's favorite berries to Bluk Berry on Greengrass Isle. Furthermore, researchers can encounter Pokémon of various sleep types regardless of their own recorded sleep style for the day.
