Key information
Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the smartphone application Kinnikuman Muscle Tag Match Reiwa Revival Edition for iOS and Android devices, with a scheduled release this autumn. Pre-registrations for the game have officially opened across respective digital stores.
This upcoming title serves as an enhanced version of the 1985 Famicom action game Kinnikuman Muscle Tag Match. The game features a total roster of 50 Chojin characters and supports two-player battles via Bluetooth communication.
The gameplay mechanics follow the rules of the original release. Players can acquire the Life Orb thrown by Meat-kun to execute each Chojin character's special signature moves.
Additionally, the publisher launched the Kinnikuman Muscle Tag Match Reiwa Revival Edition Chojin General Election 2026, running until October 12. Characters ranking 1st through 20th, along with the 29th and 50th places, are planned to be included in the roster. The game is priced at 1000 yen including tax.
