Blizzard prepares new World of Warcraft balance updates ahead of update 12.1.5, scheduled for October 13 or October 14 depending on the region. Unholy Death Knights face reductions because Blightfall dealt significantly more damage than expected, dropping from 200% down to 100% of the remaining plague damage.

Devourer Demon Hunters receive multiple single-target damage increases, such as an 8% boost to Consume/Devour, Reap/Cull, and primary target damage of Eradicate and Collapsing Star, plus a 10% increase to The Hunt and Voidblade. Brewmaster Monks receive baseline durability buffs like Quick Sip purifying 8% instead of 5%, and Pretense of Instability lasting eight seconds.

Mistweaver Monks gain 15% more healing from Invigorating Mists and Enveloping Mist in PvE. Subtlety Rogues using Trickster receive Fazed damage boosts up to 7%, while Unseen Blade and Coupe de Grace deal 15% and 10% more damage, respectively. Enhancement Shamans receive a 4% class-wide PvE damage boost and a 35% increase specifically for Lava Lash.

The upcoming major update also introduces a new single-boss raid featuring the C'Thraxxi general Kith'ix, grand-scale Labyrinths, and zone-wide Aqir Invasions. Class tuning balance patches roll out with weekly maintenance on Tuesday October 6.
