Key information
Riot Games published its Worlds 2026 guide on October 5. The League of Legends championship starts with Play-Ins on October 15–18, followed by the Swiss Stage on October 23–31 and the Knockout Stage on November 3–14.
Play-Ins take place in Los Angeles; the Swiss Stage moves to Allen, Texas. Allen also hosts the quarterfinals on November 3–6 and semifinals on November 7–8. The final takes place in Brooklyn, New York, on November 14.
Four teams contest a double-elimination Play-In bracket in best-of-five series. The five-round Swiss Stage sends teams with three wins to the knockouts and eliminates those with three losses. Repeat opponents are excluded during Swiss, and teams from the same region cannot meet in its first round.
The Korean representatives are Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, T1 and Dplus Kia. China sends Anyone’s Legend, Bilibili Gaming, TOP Esports and Shanghai Invictus Gaming Meituan. Pick’Em predictions open on October 10; a Riot Account is required and reward eligibility varies by region.
