Key information
Recent social media posts from @jakeufps and @kazeslvt suggest that Razer is preparing to release new variants of its recently launched Viper V4 Pro and DeathAdder V4 Pro gaming mice. These unverified reports indicate that the company plans to introduce carbon fiber versions of both models alongside a purple edition of the Viper V4 Pro.
The alleged carbon fiber models feature hardware adjustments beyond their exterior material. The DeathAdder V4 Pro is rumored to incorporate the Focus Pro 50K Gen-3 sensor, previously exclusive to the Viper V4 Pro, and will reportedly offer enhanced battery life.
Weight reductions are also expected for these upcoming peripherals. The carbon fiber Viper V4 Pro is tipped to weigh 47 g, a 2 g decrease from the standard model. Meanwhile, the carbon fiber DeathAdder V4 Pro is expected to weigh 49 g, representing a 7 g reduction compared to the existing version.
These devices are currently listed in certain Asian markets for approximately $300. While an international release is considered likely, details regarding the purple Viper V4 Pro remain scarce, with speculation suggesting it could be a special edition collaboration with an esports athlete.
