Key information
HP has launched a desktop deal on its website, offering a substantial discount on an Omen system equipped with high-end gaming components. The HP Omen 35L featuring an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card and an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor is now listed at $2,799.99, reduced from its original manufacturer's suggested retail price of $4,999.99.
Beyond the main processor and graphics card, the prebuilt machine comes configured with 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory and a 2TB SSD for storage. Hardware specifications also detail a fully modular 1,000-watt power supply carrying an 80-Plus Gold rating, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and a 240 mm liquid cooler designed for the central processing unit.
Industry context highlights that standalone purchases of the RTX 5080 typically command prices ranging between $1,600 and $2,000. While reviewers have not formally tested this specific model, it is noted that HP generally incorporates standardized parts inside the 35-liter chassis, which facilitates straightforward component upgrades in the future.
Performance-wise, the combination pairs one of the fastest available gaming processors with a top-tier graphics card. This hardware pairing positions the system to handle high refresh rate gaming at 1440p resolution or maximum visual quality settings at 4K.
