The Pocket Potters collection is expanding with two new books focusing on popular Wizarding World characters in connection with the upcoming HBO universe reboot. While not traditional novels, the upcoming 32-page illustrated guides will offer character details, trivia, and striking art to expand the existing lineup.
The newly announced volumes will center on Minerva McGonagall and the twins Fred and George Weasley. The McGonagall guide will cover her role as the Transfigurations professor, her animagus cat transformation, and her connections to Hogwarts and Harry. Meanwhile, the Fred and George book will trace their student years, pranks, and the path to opening Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley.
The publication is timed to follow the first season of HBO Max's new Harry Potter series, which is scheduled to premiere its eight-episode adaptation of Philosopher's Stone on December 25, 2026, and conclude on February 14, 2027. Both new Pocket Potters books are scheduled to launch in British bookstores on February 23, 2027, bringing the total number of titles in the collection to nine.
