Key information
ArenaNet has detailed its 2026 charitable plans for Guild Wars 2, continuing its long-standing support for the Extra Life organization and Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. The studio confirmed it will match donations once the total raised reaches the $25,000 milestone, effectively doubling the contribution to $50,000.
The event schedule shifts from a single 24-hour broadcast to two separate livestreams. Developers plan to play both Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 on Friday, November 13th, and Saturday, November 14th, between 12:00 p.m. EST and midnight EST, featuring various giveaways and challenges.
In-game bonuses including increased XP, magic find, and reward track progress will run from November 10th through December 1st. During this window, players can purchase a new gem store bundle containing five Extra Life Karma Boosters, five Temporary Selfless Potions, and a new Extra Life Balloon Toy, with previous years' bundles also returning to the store.
Separately, the studio is organizing a world-first race for the legendary Nexus of Eternity raid on October 13th. Additionally, a Twitch livestream covering an upcoming balance patch is set for October 8th at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
