Key information

Keen Games has officially scheduled the 1.0 release of its open-world survival title, Enshrouded, for October 15, 2026. This milestone follows a two-year period in Early Access on Steam, where the game previously reached a peak of 160,405 concurrent players.

The full launch will bring the game to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro alongside the PC version. While an Xbox release is currently planned for spring 2027, the developer has not yet provided a specific date for that platform.

Regarding gameplay, the developer has committed to delivering various optimizations, quality-of-life improvements, and new content. While official details remain limited, promotional materials and community observations suggest potential additions such as a floating island biome and enhanced lighting aesthetics.

The transition out of Early Access aims to build upon the game's existing base-building and survival mechanics. Keen Games intends to share further specifics regarding these technical and content-based updates throughout the summer leading up to the October launch.
