Key information
Bit Reactor recently faced financial instability, leading the studio to suspend 80% of its workforce shortly before the release of the strategy game Star Wars Zero Company. This decision left many employees without salary or benefits during a critical period for the project.
Following the game's commercial success, which established it as one of the franchise's top releases in the last decade, CEO Greg Foertsch announced plans to reverse the layoffs. The company is now actively working to bring back the majority of the affected staff to their former positions.
According to information provided to Game File, over half of the temporarily dismissed employees have already returned to their roles. Despite this progress, a significant portion of the workforce remains without pay or employment after two months of uncertainty regarding their future at the studio.
