Key information
A developer recently launched NvidiaWatch, a tracking website designed to monitor 462 distinct GPU driver bugs. The project, which was initially shared in late September with a subsequent update posted to Reddit this week, aggregates data from official release notes and community forum feedback.
The platform provides individual pages for specific bugs, allowing users to verify if recent updates have addressed their technical issues. Additionally, each driver release features a dedicated page summarizing fixed bugs, pending issues, and a visual chart tracking the status of problems across different software versions.
Tom’s Hardware notes that the site serves as a practical resource for users to check if Nvidia has acknowledged specific hardware problems. Consulting the tracker before installing updates may help users avoid complications, such as the fan control issues previously observed with the GeForce 595.59 driver.
While the tool currently focuses on Nvidia, there is speculation regarding the potential utility of a similar tracker for Windows updates. Such a system could theoretically help users identify problematic software patches and encourage faster resolution of bugs by visualizing the accumulation of reported issues.
