Key information

Bit Reactor has initiated the return of some employees following a period where approximately 80% of its workforce was furloughed immediately preceding the launch of Star Wars Zero Company.

CEO Greg Foertsch announced the development on October 7, describing the move as a vital progression toward providing ongoing support for the title. He noted that the initial furloughs were a difficult decision necessitated by unforeseen business challenges.

While some staff have returned, reports indicate that the current payroll accounts for over half of the pre-furlough headcount, leaving a significant portion of the team still on unpaid leave.

Star Wars Zero Company, which launched in August 2026, received a nine out of 10 rating from IGN. Reviewers lauded the project as an excellent tactical experience that successfully captures the cinematic aesthetic of Respawn's Star Wars Jedi series.
