Used Ryzen 7 5800X3D Gets Buyer Locked Out of Valorant Due to Previous Owner's Cheating
A purchaser of a pre-owned Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor found themselves blocked from playing Valorant. The buyer acquired the component via the German classifieds portal Kleinanzeigen, taking ownership on September 21. While the chip functioned properly, Valorant terminated upon startup, unlike the buyer's prior central processing unit. Riot support communicated that the processor identifier was placed on a Vanguard blacklist on August 12 due to prior cheating by the former owner.
