Embark Studios has released the 2.0 patch for its extraction shooter, Arc Raiders, titled the Frozen Trails update. This significant content drop introduces snowy mountain environments and new grappling hook mechanics to the game.
The update brings several quality-of-life improvements, including an emissive toggle for player backpacks to reduce visibility. Additionally, the game now features proximity chat mouth animations, the ability to view the map while downed, and new contextual animations that reflect character exhaustion during sprinting.
Players will also benefit from an increased maximum stash size, now set at 328 slots excluding expedition bonuses. The update further expands the game with new ARC enemies, additional gun upgrades, and the ability for players to decorate their own personal outposts.
