Key information
AOC has officially introduced the U27G4Z, a new 27-inch gaming monitor currently available in the Chinese market. This display features a versatile dual-mode Fast IPS panel, allowing users to switch between a 4K resolution at 240 Hz and a 1080p resolution at 480 Hz.
The monitor is engineered for performance with a 1 ms GtG response time and a 0.3 ms MPRT. It includes Adaptive-Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible certifications, alongside VESA DisplayHDR 400 support. The panel delivers 350 nits in SDR and 450 nits in HDR, with a 1,300:1 static contrast ratio and color coverage of 99% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. The device also supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes, plus gaming-specific tools like crosshair overlays and shadow control. Note that Display Stream Compression is necessary for high-bandwidth modes, and the unit lacks integrated speakers.
Physical design elements include a fully adjustable stand and VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting compatibility. While the U27G4Z is listed on the company's Chinese website, AOC has not yet provided details regarding international pricing or regional availability.
