Key information

Reports from Board Channels indicate that AMD is implementing significant price increases for its graphics cards within the Chinese market. These adjustments are attributed to rising manufacturing expenses and the ongoing surge in memory costs.

The price hikes vary by model, with the Radeon RX 9070 seeing the largest increase of $104. Conversely, the RX 9060 XT 8 GB model will experience a smaller adjustment of $45. Meanwhile, the RX 9070 XT and RX 6500 XT are expected to maintain their current pricing.

While these changes are currently localized to China, international board partners have reportedly been notified of upcoming adjustments. The new MSRPs are expected to take effect in Q4 2026, though the timeline for global implementation remains uncertain.

Additional models affected include the RX 9070 GRE and RX 7650 GRE, both seeing a $60 increase, and the RX 9060 XT 16 GB, which faces an $89 rise.
