Key information
Star Wars: Galactic Racer achieved an 88 Metascore on Metacritic, securing a spot among top-rated titles in the franchise. Members with an Amazon Prime subscription can currently access the title through Amazon Luna.
The title functions as a racing roguelike taking place inside the Galactic League underground racing circuit. Players navigate single-player campaigns alongside Arcade and Scenarios modes, featuring unique rule sets and characters.
Polygon reviewer Oli Welsh praised the release as a generation's premier arcade racer, highlighting its demanding learning curve, intense speed, and tactical depth. However, the cloud offering is limited to single-player modes, requiring online purchasers to buy the full version for multiplayer races.
Beyond the cloud service, the game remains available for purchase on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X platforms. It joins other offerings like Star Wars Outlaws on Amazon Luna.
