Key information

Nintendo has unveiled a new promotional video for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5 (Thursday). The announcement introduces fresh gameplay elements, including a location known as the Pandemonium.

The Pandemonium functions as a museum-like facility where players can view statues of previously defeated monsters. Within this area, players can engage in time-attack challenges against these foes to test their combat skills at their convenience.

Explorers will also encounter Fairy Secrets scattered throughout Hyrule. These locations contain hidden information that players can have Navi read aloud. Additionally, the Nintendo Today! smartphone application is currently distributing digital Zelda collection cards, with a Majora's Mask themed pack arriving on October 4 (Sunday).

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the series, Nintendo is offering special wallpapers as an early purchase bonus. To qualify, players must purchase the software by November 23, 2026 (Monday) at 23:59 and opt-in to receive promotional emails. Download links for these digital rewards will be distributed via email starting in early November.
