NCSoft has officially announced a global Steam playtest for its upcoming time survival shooter, Time Takers. The testing period is scheduled to run from November 13 to November 16.
The developer is implementing several gameplay adjustments based on feedback gathered during the September testing phase. Key improvements include enhanced character individuality, refined combat balance, and better visibility. Furthermore, the team has focused on optimizing movement controls and combat feedback to provide a more polished experience.
The matchmaking system is also undergoing a significant overhaul to better account for individual player skill levels and party compositions. These changes follow data indicating that play time and repeat engagement metrics improved during the September test compared to the March closed beta.
Interested users can register for the upcoming event directly through the game's store page on Steam. Once officially released, Time Takers is planned to be a free-to-play title.
