Gryphline hosted a special preview broadcast on October 7 for version 1.6 of Arknights: Endfield, titled Danchongdo. During the presentation, the developer highlighted that major factions from the predecessor Arknights, specifically Rhodes Island featuring the operator Warfarin, are scheduled to appear prominently in future updates.

The update introduces the new region 'Picture of Si,' which serves as the residence of Si, the 13th proxy of Behemoth. Players enter this painted world to treat the administrator and resolve anomalies, utilizing brush-drawn structures for unique environmental interactions.

The update brings new characters including the ice support Si and the electric guard Mingha, alongside various events like an inn management event named 'Bond Forged in Flames,' alongside the 'Gray Experiment Operation' crisis contract season.

Additionally, the Steam version of Endfield is scheduled for release on the 15th, and a 1st-anniversary offline festival is planned for January 9 and 10, 2027, at KINTEX Exhibition Center II in Ilsan.
