Speculation regarding a structural rework for the Valorant map Pearl has emerged following the discovery of discrepancies in a recent skin bundle trailer. Viewers noted that the mid-section layout in the leaked Galleria 2.0 trailer differs from the current live version of the map.
Visual comparisons reveal that box-shaped structures previously located at building corners in the mid-area have been replaced by solid walls. Additionally, the path connecting the mid-section to the A site appears to have been modified, seemingly resulting in an expanded line of sight for players.
While these changes suggest a potential map update, it remains unconfirmed. The trailer may utilize a development build that does not reflect the final live environment. Riot Games has not issued an official statement regarding these map adjustments.
Furthermore, data mining suggests Pearl might return to the competitive map pool. The map was removed from competitive rotation following the 12.05 patch in March. However, until official confirmation is provided, the status of both the rework and the map's return remains speculative.
