One year after the initial release of the game, the Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition is now available for PS5 players. The newly released bundle includes the main story campaign, the multiplayer mode Ghost of Yotei Legends, the roguelike Wanted mode, and the narrative expansion Echoes of Sekigahara, which features a story split between the current timeline and flashbacks to Atsu's past on the mainland.
To celebrate the game's first anniversary and the launch of the Complete Edition, voice actor Erika Ishii reflected on returning to the role after a hiatus of at least a few months. Ishii noted that the development team took a well-deserved break for polishing after finishing the main game before production on the expansion ramped up.
Ishii also discussed returning to voice new lines for the roguelike Wanted mode, which offers a different, more mythical and high-energy atmosphere as a non-canon mode. The mode notably features the return of Jin, with Daisaku Tsuji recording new dialogue for the update.
