Nintendo has announced a fresh remake of the classic title The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, scheduled for release on the Nintendo Switch 2 on Nov. 5. This updated version aims to modernize the experience through overhauled visuals and streamlined control schemes.

A standout addition is the Hall of Fallen Foes, a museum-style area where players can view statues of previously defeated monsters. Each display includes a descriptive placard providing lore, while dungeon bosses allow users to engage in rematches to practice skills or compete for faster completion times.

While the Nintendo 3DS version previously featured a Boss Challenge mode, this iteration serves as an expanded bestiary. Polygon notes that the new implementation offers a significant improvement for players who enjoy collecting in-game content.

The remake also introduces features like Zelda Notes and improved ocarina support. Prospective players should be aware that recent promotional materials contain footage of various bosses, including Gohma and Volvagia, which may be considered spoilers for those unfamiliar with the original game.
