Akio Otsuka, the Japanese voice actor for Solid Snake, Naked Snake, Solidus Snake, and Venom Snake, addressed Konami on behalf of the franchise enthusiasts worldwide.
In a discussion with Bunshun, Otsuka expressed deep pride in building the universe and memorable characters alongside Hideo Kojima, but he also reaffirmed his personal promise never to return to the series without Kojima.
Despite maintaining that he would not work on a new installment without Kojima, whom he respects immensely, Otsuka stated that Konami ought to develop additional titles for the global supporters eagerly waiting.
Otsuka noted that since Kojima is pursuing his own independent work with Death Stranding, Konami should move forward with creating another entry for the community.
