Polden Publishing released a demo for the PC title Fantasy Blacksmith Simulator on Steam on October 14, 2026. Developed by CozyPlay, the full version of this simulation game is scheduled for release later this year.
Players aim to become legendary blacksmiths in a fantasy setting, with options for both solo and cooperative multiplayer. The core gameplay involves restoring an abandoned workshop to craft magical armor, weapons, and jewelry.
The demo covers the early game chapters up to level 4. Mechanics include reigniting cold furnaces, gathering raw materials like wood and ore, and completing hands-on minigames to forge items such as shields, bows, and necklaces.
Once items are crafted, players display them in their shop to attract local customers. The game also allows hiring staff, such as blacksmith assistants to help with furnace tasks and bards to provide entertainment in the workshop.
