Bit Reactor has initiated the process of returning furloughed employees to work. CEO Greg Foertsch stated that this move marks a significant step in the studio's ongoing support for Star Wars: Zero Company.

The studio previously furloughed approximately 80% of its workforce shortly before the game's launch. This decision followed unexpected business challenges and a legal dispute between co-founders, which reportedly left the company unable to cover payroll.

While the studio has not confirmed exact figures, reports suggest that over half of the total staff have been reinstated. Despite this progress, a portion of the workforce remains on leave without pay or benefits.

Star Wars: Zero Company achieved commercial success by selling over 1m copies. Foertsch expressed gratitude for the fan response and indicated that further updates regarding the studio and the game are expected soon.
