A crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter is currently live for a random number generator known as the VEX-1: 6-in-1 All-Metal Mechanical Dice. Developed by MAXDOROL in the United States, the campaign has already surpassed its funding goal.
The device functions as a multi-functional dice system that can produce outcomes equivalent to various standard dice, including D4, D8, D10, multiple D6, D12, and D20. It incorporates interchangeable discs, a roulette wheel with optional ball addition, side buttons, and a rotating YES/NO plate.
The unit measures 72mm in width, 110mm in height, and 15mm in thickness, featuring a smartphone-like size and a sporty design. It is offered in three material versions: stainless steel, titanium, and zirconium.
The manufacturer notes that the random mechanisms are intended strictly for entertainment and non-gambling recreation purposes, and are not suitable for commercial gambling or lotteries.
