The television anime adaptation of Muchimaro's manga series "There's a Setup for That in the Student Council!" officially began broadcasting on October 5. In Taiwan, Muse Communication has licensed the series as an uncensored version, which is available on various OTT platforms subject to age verification.
Animated by Passione, known for "Interspecies Reviewers," the adaptation successfully recreates the source material's unrestricted comedic style. Following the circulation of clips on X, the series has drawn in many new viewers.
However, some new fans experienced a shock after stumbling upon risque character fan art featuring a style identical to the manga. Upon closer inspection, they realized the adult illustrations were actually published by the original author, Muchimaro. Notes indicate that Muchimaro's Pixiv content for the series includes R18-G depictions of violence and gore.
In the wake of these events, Muchimaro's original X account has been suspended. Followers can instead track the author through a newly established backup account or via the official "There's a Setup for That in the Student Council!" manga account.
