Atlus has officially released a worldwide demo for Metaphor: ReFantazio on the Switch 2. This trial version is currently accessible via the eShop ahead of the title's scheduled full release on November 12, 2026.
The demo allows players to experience core gameplay elements, including dungeon exploration and combat utilizing the Archetype role system. Users can also interact with Followers, a mechanic described as functioning similarly to Social Links found in the Persona series.
Progress made during the trial can be saved and transferred to the final game. This implementation mirrors the functionality of previously released demos for the title on other platforms, such as the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
The full game is priced at $39.99. Pre-orders include the Archetype EXP Chest Set and the Adventurer’s Journey Pack, which provides various consumables, healing items, and 30,000 Reeve for in-game purchases.
