Arc System Works has officially unveiled the Year 1 downloadable content lineup for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. The upcoming roster features Phoenix Cyclops, Jane Foster as Thor, Venom, and Jubilee.
Phoenix Cyclops leads the release schedule on 2nd November, accompanied by Classic and Legacy costumes. Subsequent additions include Thor in winter 2027, Venom alongside a Klyntar stage in spring 2027, and Jubilee in summer 2027.
Producer Takeshi Yamanaka noted that Phoenix Cyclops was chosen to provide fresh visuals and unique mechanics, such as Dark Phoenix gameplay and updated Optic Blasts. The team opted to delay his release to ensure the character offered distinct, innovative gameplay elements.
Players can purchase these characters individually or acquire them through the Year One Characters & Stage Pass. The game is currently available for PC and PS5 platforms.
