A year after the original release, the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition is available now on PS5, uniting the core campaign, Ghost of Yōtei Legends multiplayer, and two major additions: the Echoes of Sekigahara narrative expansion and the Most Wanted roguelike mode.
Voice actor Erika Ishii returned to record new lines after a gap of at least a couple of months following the original production. Ishii noted that the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion explores Atsu's backstory and personal attachments, featuring a narrative split between the present day and mainland flashbacks.
Ishii stated that the non-canonical Most Wanted mode features a mystical, mythological feeling with new dialogue, alongside returning characters such as Jin, voiced by Daisaku Tsuji, who recorded new lines for the mode.
Reflecting on the one-year milestone, Ishii described the four-year involvement as a dream come true, highlighted by seeing Atsu on the PlayStation home screen and attending events like the Tokyo Game Show.
