Nintendo’s turn-based tactical RPG series has returned with Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, which is available for Nintendo Switch 2. A recent review awarded the title a full 10/10 score, describing it as a massive epic. Playthrough durations for the game vary, with some players reaching the end just under the 100-hour mark while others exceed that total.
Unlike previous titles such as Fire Emblem: Three Houses, where players experienced separate routes on different save files to see how each story played out, Fortune’s Weave stitches all four routes together into one single run. Each route is almost as long as some entire games in the franchise, and all four feel virtually essential to the main plot.
Players are not strictly forced to complete every route. Similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, individuals have the freedom to proceed to the climax after reaching a certain point, though doing so means entering with less power and missing out on significant story content.
