EverQuest II has initiated its annual prelude event, titled Path to Sedition, to prepare players for the upcoming Descent to Val’zyroth expansion. This event focuses on undead threats and the rising danger posed by the Teir’Dal.
The event introduces eight new adventure quests and eight new tradeskill quests for participants. Players can also earn fresh rewards, complete a new achievement, finish a new collection, and purchase items from new merchants.
Simultaneously, the original EverQuest has started beta testing for its Favors of Fortune expansion. This testing phase evaluates the Dark Elf Bard race and class combination, a new collection depot, and various missions, raids, and quests.
Access to the Favors of Fortune beta is currently granted to players who pre-order the expansion. Participants also receive additional incentives, including three gilded weapon ornaments.
