The Wolfenstein franchise presents an alternate universe where the Axis powers won World War II. Released in 1992, Wolfenstein 3D featured Adolf Hitler as a final boss, commonly known as Mecha-Hitler, giving players the opportunity to eliminate the dictator.
Players had to wait until Wolfenstein: New Colossus to confront the Führer again. During a sequence where B.J. Blazkowicz attends a Nazi film audition, players can interact with a paranoid, vomiting Hitler and kill him with a swift kick to the face. Executing this grants the Kung Führer achievement for killing Hitler during the stratospheric audition.
The German release of Wolfenstein: New Colossus experienced specific alterations, such as the removal of swastikas, due to strict legal restrictions concerning Nazi iconography in Germany. Other titles like Sniper Elite 5, developed by Rebellion for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles, also provide missions allowing players to eliminate the dictator through various methods.
