The Witcher 3 reached its highest concurrent player count on Steam over the past weekend, drawing 137,724 simultaneous users. This milestone follows the recent release of the Remastered version by CD Projekt RED, provided as a free update for existing owners across platforms.
CD Projekt RED quest design director Pawel Sasko shared gratitude on social media, thanking players for embarking on the path. The studio has addressed technical issues quickly, while building momentum for the upcoming expansion Songs of the Past next year and the distant development of The Witcher 4.
Additional success came to Cyberpunk 2077 during Steam autumn sales alongside its expansion Phantom Liberty, achieving 60,000 concurrent players over the weekend. Furthermore, a second season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is scheduled to premiere on October 20.
